ForgeHub

I ran a video game community website back in 2013-2014

Bought it for 2500 in 2013 as a broke college student living at home, that was a major investment and committment.

I came out of it having learned so much and it set me down the path I am today, doing Digital Marketing and Management Services.

I owe my career to Halo and Forge.

Learned everything about WordPress, Hostnames, DNS, Servers, Registrars, Forum Software, Managing A Large Fanbase, Interpersonal Communication with volunteer staff, media production, organized events, marketing, social media, analytics, Google Adsense, vForum, IP Board, XenForo.

Owning ForgeHub was the ultimate crash course.

I learned about negotiating higher ticket transactions.

I learned about how you can buy and sell domains, valuation, management and all.

I learned about how to run a communiy.

I remember buying my first kindle book being about managing forums [insert links to amazon books purchase here]

I would read it on the train in the morning riding the LIRR to Farmingdale every morning.

I wanted to give a platform of the most exposure for all the creative map designers that gave new life to an existing game. They would breed fun and joy into an otherwise sad state of affairs, especially during Halo 4.

That game was so bad yet I spent the most time of all the games playing that one.

If it wasn't for Halo ProMod.
