Practical AI for business owners

Website Basics With an AI Assistant

Understand website folders, HTML structure, CSS style, JavaScript behavior and a sitemap-led workflow without writing code.

10 short lessonsNo coding experience neededClick through examples in your browser

Understand the idea before the settings

Build a clear picture of a website before asking an assistant to create one. Start with a prepared folder for a fictional service business, then recognize its pages, structure, style and behavior.

Plan backwards from a sitemap. Give every page a purpose, connect useful next steps, and keep a readable HTML sitemap for visitors and agent context. A search-engine sitemap is a related but different format.

Practice focused requests and labeled before-and-after review. Explore local browser activities, then optionally open prepared files in VS Code. No blank-page assignment, real enquiry submission or public launch is required.

Finish with a clean public release plan and continue into Domains and Website Hosting for the basics of domains, DNS, servers and updates.

Read prepared examples, choose a next step, and direct the work in ordinary language. No code writing, terminal commands, paid purchase, account connection, or live infrastructure change is required.

What this course helps you understand

  • Recognize HTML, CSS and JavaScript by their roles.
  • Plan a useful small website with a sitemap.
  • Describe and review one change at a time.
  • Distinguish a local demonstration from a connected business service.
  • Prepare reviewed public files for a later hosting decision.

What you need

  • A browser is enough for the guided examples.
  • The VS Code beginner course is useful preparation for optional app practice.
  • Any real hosting, domain, email or AI account remains a separate choice with its own terms and possible costs.

Complete written lessons are available. Recorded videos have not been added.

Open your prepared course folder

Start with the browser examples. When you want the practice files beside the lesson, download the Academy starter and extract it.

Open proscris-academy-starter/START-HERE.html for the course directory. Shared guidance lives in shared/; this course is in courses/website-basics-with-ai/. Its own START-HERE.html explains the included examples.

The ZIP contains prepared learning files. It does not install an application, connect an account or include paid subscriptions. Real-app actions are optional.
